Been lurking on and off for the past year. I finally decided to pull the trigger and join up. I'm a military member (13 years) most of it stationed here on Whidbey Island. I've been duck hunting since I was 13. Just wanted to see who is out there and pick up the tips/tricks for this area.

Have fun on deployment, I just got put Limdu and can't make it out to Japan, so I figure I'll heal up and kill some ducks while I'm at it.

Sounds good. I'm no expert, but Ill share what knowledge I have of the area, and I'm sure I'll have a spot open at some point this year

Thanks, you just let me know and I'll make sure I get some time off work. I mean I only have 87 days on the books, so I think they can spare me.

You need to tell the US Gov. to stop sending you on deployment during duck season!

LoL.

Last season I was in the clear, but I started to get time with my daughter so I voluntarily cut my season down some.

2 seasons ago I kept going on det.

I'm thinking about going back east when I get back to do a spring snow goose hunt.

May have found a way to shoot some Baikal and Falcated Teal this fall. Now let's see if it will pan out...
