WHO IS READY?

Just putting the finishing touches up with getting everything ready. Youth season this coming week end, then bring on the regular duck season, should be good times.

Still trying to get the boat finished with the motor arriving sometime mid Oct. Don't need to the boat for early season but would like to get it done before it gets too late in the year. Other than that just trying to get stuff caught up with school so when time comes I'll be ready to wack some woodies every morning before class. Even the weather is shifting...starting to feel like fall!!

What type of area is everyone hunt....beaver pond, marsh, farm pond, river...ect?

I think we will hit a main marsh area in the morning hopefully to score on some mallards then maybe head to a small beaver pond in the evening to try our luck on some woodies.

Hitting a swamp on private land, drained and planted with rice and corn back in the spring, looks like a great opener.

Then hitting some public land, small creeks, Summersville, a WMA, off for the whole first week, should be. Cleaned the guns tonight, you all be safe and good luck.
