Kind of slow, me and a DH4L got 5 mallards and he got a banded goose, made up for the slow day. In your face action, got to do it again soon.

Sounds like a great day. We ended up with 12 mallards. Good shot. Hopefully it gets colder soon. The birds are all spread out again now.

Well,
Good job guys. I went Sun-up to Sun-down today. I am proud to say I got 1 gadwall. He was worth every minute I spent in the muddy, foggy, nasty rain. I am in my forties and get excited like a thirteen year old on a deer hunt. Its True; I need lots of practice and patience but soon I will be hanging with the big dogs. Headed out to do it again tomorrow. May the birds fly straight into my barrel.
Good Luck guys ( if that has anything to do with it ).

Thanks brother, going on 43 come this FEB, been WF hunting since 99, just wish I got into it earlier, would have saved a lot of deer and turkeys along the way. Even on my worst days, I still will do it again in the morning, matter of fact, I am. Be safe, shoot straight and limits all around (at least I hope).
