Managed 2 woodies this afternoon checking out a spot for the first time. 8 or 9 ducks just plopped down about 20 feet away from me on the other side of some reeds. These are my first wood ducks, they are not very common where I used to hunt. Pretty excited to eat them.

Hunted yesterday with 2 buddies, we each took one woodie a piece. Went out for an evening hunt solo, ended up with a goose, a mallard drake and a woodie.

Went out solo this morning, limited on mallard drakes by 7:30, then had to watch them pitch in all over me. Also connected on a young Woodrow, should have had another, lord knows they were all over, but they would come in from the other way I was not watching. Good times, wished I would have gotten into the mallards earlier, but that is why they make November.

We had a great last day 8 gwt, 7 woodies, and 1 mallard. Didn`t see a lot of mallards, but the woodies were eveywhere. Too bad its over.

I was just never in the right spot this early season. I'm new to the game, last year was my first year. Most of my spots are late season spots. Only saw a few woodies, never saw any teal. Really wanted in on the teal....guess have to wait on that for next year.

You would be surprised about the teal, you may still get into a few BW in NOV plus the little GW like the cold weather.

Well seems about like the usual crew here, plus one or two others.
