Myself and a few friends hunt in the Panhandle. We get enough action to keep both my boys excited!

You folks tend to be very quiet and I don't mind saying for the most part mild mannered unless some one crosses you.
Build memories, take a kid out doors and teach them about nature by interacting with it, hunting and fishing.

Learn from the past, don't dwell on it.

I agree Greg, we try to stay clear of the crowds and keep our feet out of our mouth  , we've got some pretty good hunting over here and it's pretty unpopulated with hunters and we try and keep it that way  . But if anyone wants to come along and sit in my boat they are more than welcome.

They just don't chat much because it's to hard to get the PC up on the power pole to hook it up. :lol3: I gotta remember to tell my dad that one. I was born and raised in WV so I can say such things. I told my dad a joke once about WV and he just looked at me and said "don't forget where you come from boy" I have lived in NC now for 20 yrs, love it and I kill my share of ducks, wouldn't mind killin a few WV ducks sometime but have no clue where to hunt. I am from Mason county.

Sure, there are a lot of places to hunt. The ducks aren't here all of the time though, late season is better

Hunt the Northern Panhandle mostly on the Ohio River. 9 times out of 10 never see another person besides those hunting with me.

Hey, just moved up to West VA from Georgia. Graduated college, got a job, and excited that I don't have school messing up my duck season. However, I grew up hunting in GA and Arkansas and don't know one duck hunter in this state. I do some work up in the Panhandle and the area looks ripe for ducks and geese. In fact I've seen more ducks here in my first month then I do all season in GA. Anyone willing to show a 23-year old kid some areas here in West VA? Willing to help out round farms if needed. I just want to hunt ducks this winter!!!!

Getting ready to move back home shortly and get out of the DC grind. They are a few ducks and geese, just depends on the time and weather.

But if you hear banjos, you might want to rethink your location  :help:
