Well I made it out to Lower Mud Lake on Monday and for the first time all year we had the entire lake ourselves! It was awesome, the birds were responsive to calls, they decoyed very well all morning, its amazing how much more reactive the birds are to a good decoy spread and good calling when they aren't hearing 12 other yahoos out there blowing away at their Primos power hen duck call!

We ended up killing 18 ducks, a 3 man limit by 9am! Suprisingly we didn't shoot any Mallards, all ducks shot were Blue Bills, Buffles, and Ruddy Ducks...The Blue Bills were friggin all over Mud Lake yesterday, I've never seen so many Blues out there!
