Meet and Greet?

Postby backwoodsboy09 » Sat Jun 23, 2012 11:16 pm

Was wondering if some guys on here would be interested in setting up possibly a monthly greet and meet besides waiting for DU banquets. Im located in SE WI but don't mind a little drive.

I'd be up for it, I make it back down to Janesville about everything other weekend during the duck season, and I wouldn't mind a little drive either.

I'd be interested, but my summer is filling up fast. With 2 little ones and 3 families to try to get around to see, it may be kind of hard to get away.

Maybe we can bring it more north? Beaver dam/ horicon area? lot of duck hunters up around that area anyways, and that way people farther north dont have as much of a drive.
I blame the hole in the O-zone on sky busters.

This sounds like a great idea. I do most of my duck hunting by myself. Havent really got connected with any other duck hunters except for the conversations on forums here. I am in the west bend/ fredonia area.

Is there any interesting place to eat around Beaver Dam? Would everyone be ok with that being the meeting place?

Mike serves pretty good food at Bayside, but the hours are a little sporadic. I believe his weekend hours start late in the afternoon. He and I are on the same DU committee, so I can try to give him a call to find out what the hours are exactly.
