Things are good up here, Zan. A good growing season so far. Corn is knee high already and we've had only a couple of days of hot, humid weather. Good thing it lasts a couple of days before a Canadian High chases it away. I don't know how you guys take it four of five months a year.

Gets harder and harder to take it every year HBar. 95 today with 80% humidity. I only spend a half of my day outside. Then guys like Zan, that are in it all day....it has to be tough.

Hal, It is getting tougher every year as I get older. We've been in the 90's for months already and we got a ways to go yet, july, august and september are brutal. Thinking of getting me a job at the ice house. :toofunny:

I'll take winter any time. Nothing quite as refreshing as a brisk fifteen degree day.

What's the chance you guys making it up here to pop a few ducks this fall? I think we could find a few spots to show you.

We'd be happy to show you around. Pretty country for sure. Big River and backwater and field hunting. Might even see a bird or two.

My favorite after hunt breakfast place serves great Sothern Biscuits and Gravy so you'll feel right at home.

Zan,

That's the best we can do, after all, this is the North; unless maybe Ralph unleashes some of his great cooking,

No problem, If I get the chance to make it up ya'lls way, I'll be ready to try some of ya'lls food. I can get all the cajun food I want here, but i would probably carry some boudin up to let ya'll try some.

You Cajuns need to clean up your thoughts....

Ok so no one is confused...

I am sure that.. if you made it up this way... Ralph , Jim, HBar, Larry and myself would enjoy going out in the wild and shooting at ducks... and then we could have cocktails and eat the cajun food that you bring with you and Bigun...

Sheesh... Larry... Like I would consider Pimping you... I am just pimping your 45 Hyper!!!!!! :toofunny: :toofunny:

are you talking about driving in one day or only spending one day? I think you should plan on being here at least 3 days total for a combination of different style hunts!
