I am getting know them, never shared a blind with anyone from the club to this point. This is my first full season with the club and don't get over to train as often as some, being in Appleton and all. But have met some good people overall.

Hey DF,

Do you know Bob Vandermeer aka Rivers Risen? Got my chessie female from him - great guy. Moved to KY last year. He did a lot of diver hunting out on the big water.

If this site supports voice chat on a Mac, I'll be on as soon as I can figure it out.

DF, come hunt over my chessies sometime. If they don't eat you, they will change your opinion of the breed.

Hbar

I know they are an excellent breed, have watched many fantastic dogs perform. I just could not resist ribbing a Chessie owner, almost as fun as owners of goldens. :umm: Just hasslin' ya.

DF,

Don't worry about it. I expect it and enjoy it. All huntin' dogs are great, and a little ribbin' comes with the territory. (Like I was kidding about chessies eating people.)
