Big Trips This Year

Postby backwoodsboy09 » Mon Aug 12, 2013 6:32 pm

Anyone plan any big trips this year? Either in or outside of the state? I will be going to North Dakota again either the last week of October or the first week of November hunting out of Devils Lake.

Duck numbers are way up in Wisconsin this year. By November you will probably be hunting migrators though.

Saskatchewan Sept 13 to Sept 29. War Wagon Crew hunted 12 days in 2012 with 4 guys, harvested 805 :hammer: :hammer: :hammer: Birds. This year 5 guys, looking for 1000. To do this, weather has to be right and the Snows got to be in. The worse year we ever had was 4 guys and harvested 500 birds.

Going down to Arkansas on December 29th thru January 1st to hunt flooded rice fields for waterfowl plus maybe black river also. Found a good price on a lodge/guide with all the good things included. If any one is interested have a few spots open still since no one besides me has committed to the hunt there.
