Mud motors in Wis

I had heard something about the DNR considering the ban of mudmotors in Wisconsin.Has anyone heard or read about this? I guess this has been brought up several years ago,but this is the first I've heard of it.

Seriously!?? Whats the reasoning behind this? Also where is this list of banned marshes at?

Maybe they will restrict duck hunters to electric motors only. What a joke!

A lot of places I hunt are paddle only and no carry ins allowed.

Man I thought we had it bad! I'm too big of a boy to go in kayak, a canoe has to be pretty big to feel comfortable.

The article I was referring to is on www. duckboats.net under mud motor ban. may have to do a search or look back to July 29 and the last post was Aug 1

they said mud motors kill too much vegetation and gives birds less places to rest...Have they ever seen a map of Horicon before?!?! The refugeis four times as big as huntable places. if the birds need more places to rest than that then they will all die from natural causes anyway.
