One extra day to sleep in during season is a plus. Just seems odd to open the season at 0900.

I will be out there at 9 with decoys out but will also have a fishing pole in hand and the shotgun close by. Last year had two flocks by 9:10 and saw nothing until 3 pm. Good luck everyone on your 2013 season!

Today dosen't feel like duck hunting weather.

I'll bide my time.

Good luck gentlemen.

No way I am hunting Wisconsin anymore for the opener. I am jumping the border into Minnesota. The most embarrassing thing is when you are sitting on the Wisconsin side of the Mississippi river watching the flocks of teal fly by you for 2 hours and listening to the Minnesota side of the river lighting them up all morning.

We should really start writing to Scott Walker about this and get him to change it since the DNR will not do it on their own.
