My first year up here with a pointing dog, looking forward to chasing them. At the very least trying to get into some woodcock when the flight comes through.

I wish you guys would shoot more of them.

I started carrying a clean pair of underwear with me in the woods on account of them.

Use to do it religously when I was younger before I discovered duck hunting.

Nothing like going out around noon after a busted duck hunt and really smacking the grouse and woodcock...

Hanging in there. Long summer on the lake with things much slower than we like to see.

Just bought a kayak, working on getting her dressed up and in a couple weeks i'll be in the mood to harass some wildlife.

What is your situation this fall/winter?

Hopefully be home for winter but I will definitely miss all fall. Depends on when I get sent to my secondary training which I don't have any real clue as to when that is.
