I am under the impression that you can hunt in any river you could float a boat in, and if the river is crossed over by a bridge you can use the bridge as your public access way, correct me if I'm wrong, I'd hate to get in trouble if this isn't allowed and I thought it was.

From everything i know you are correct and if im not mistaken you dont have to be able to float a boat you just need to be in the water.

I believe the regs say "feet wet" somewhere in there. Pull the PDF and hit CTRL + F and search for the words.

Just remember if you do shoot something and it lands on the adjacent property you need the owners permission to retrieve.

Thanks,

You cant float and shoot on any river. You must be able to shoot from one side of the river to the other. If the river is too wide for that you must follow concealment laws when floating.

But almost all small rivers are fine, not to many big rivers in sconny

This also confused me, what does it mean by shoot from one side to the other?

what does using the bridge as a public accessway mean? can you walk out right next to it? or does it literally mean jumping over it lol
