How much Ice is there at Vernon, would the ice be too thick to break through with a Kayak?

yes no doubt. i havent been there but every other pond/marsh in the area is frozen. the river will be okay tho

Thanks, I was planning in trying to hunt the Fox a little south of Burlington, would I be better off launching at tichigan and going up river a little, or does it not matter?
