Holy freeze

Half the late season places I hunt are froze solid, even rivers. Been a few years since we had frozen water for duck season!

Agree. Many areas on the river that I know hold current were locked up. Found a few areas pushing 3" with ease. Brother got out and walked next to the boat in some areas.

Man I know this sucks but a guy has to go. Long time since weather has been so hard on us late season duck hunters. I hope to see something on Thanksgiving. KEEP THE FAITH....

I think we have been pretty lucky for a long time now with late freeze ups.

Yes we have, I have been one of those guys that say the season starts to early, and still do. It's a chance I will take every year. A guy rolls the dice and it looks like this year I lost...

agree 100%^^^ I like the late season freeze challenge of finding birds. Id rather try finding full plumage mallards than early season woodies

I agree with you 100 percent. I could care less about shooting early season teal and woodies. I went on the open this year and it didnt really do much for me. I will be out tomorrow trying to find open water!
