What ducks can you shoot in WI? Also how do you categorize them and how to know how many you can shoot?

any duck but theres limits on how many of certain species. for example 4 mallard which one can be a hen, 3 woodies, 2 cans. just look it up on the DNR webstite. ducks that arent listed u can shoot 6

I can't hunt anymore this year but I've got some spots that are full of ducks in late December if you are interested.

So you can shoot a limit of 6 ducks and is there a limit you can shoot throughout the season?

Read Thomas' post again... Read the regulations, there are different species of ducks and you should learn them and the regulations before you go out hunting

I suggest you go on one of the new mentored hunts that WI offers. Look it up on the dnr website.

No Kidding.

Even though the birds are always hot and heavy, I think I'm more excited about cheering for the Chiefs when I go to Kansas in a couple weeks.
