Farm Fields in Green Bay Area

Postby Scott Ditzman » Sun Sep 18, 2005 8:16 pm

Looking for anyone that knows were to hunt some fields in the Green Bay Wisconsin area. I usually stay strickly to the Bay of Green Bay (West Shore) but had a curiosity about field hunting. Is there anyone out there that knows of a place that is either public hunting (fields only) or a farmer that is in the area that lets people hunt there?

Doesn't look like you have found anything. If you ever want to scout, let me know. I live in Ashwaubenon, near the casino. I too hunt the on the west side of the bay.

There is room for all of God's creatures, right next to the potatos and gravy.

Head east towards Door County

Postby Dalros » Tue Oct 25, 2005 2:14 pm

Hey guys,

I used to live in Green Bay a couple of years ago and what I found was not so much on the Westside, but on the Eastside towards Door county. We'd bust up the Divers in the morning and the Puddlers in the afternoon. There's ton of farmers out there who are friendly, just make sure and clean up after yourselves and I was always greeted warmly with an offering of a nice clean pheasant or 2.

I sure would like to get out there again, as that short time out there equated to the best duck hunting I've had in many, many years of duck hunting...the season is just way to darn short...

Good luck,

Sure thing Hun, I'll get right on that...right after hunting season!
