Salt River

Postby honkerbonker22 » Sun Nov 29, 2009 8:17 pm

I got out for a duck hunt on the salt river sat morning with just my dog and myself. It was a fun hunt and my shorthair even got some retrieve's. I don't take him much because he gets pretty cold but sat. morning was only 26 so it was worth a shot. We ended up with a mixed bag for a limit. 2 ringbills, goldeney, bufflehead, teal and 2 mallards. Not to shabby on the salt to get a limit by 915.

Look's like you got a nice mix there. I think I have fished that spot there. My wife is from Grover and it looks like I will be moveing there when I retire from the Navy in 4 years.

God I love that river, my favorite river to fish for sure.
Good enough for the girls I date.
