Moving to SE wyoming

Postby David121582 » Mon Aug 18, 2008 11:50 am

:help: I am getting stationed in Cheyenne Wy and will be moving there around 1 September. Im just trying to figure out were some decent duck spots are. Im not asking for any secret spots unless you want to give them. I really like hunting rivers or open water. I have a new lab for this season and he seems to work retrieving really well once he settle into his new sourounding but i haven't had the chance to try him on birds yet. Thanks for any assistance. :help:

In wyoming you cant hunt the rivers like other places. You cant anchor or put out decoys unless you have land owners permission. You can however hunt most of the lakes here.

head north around Torrington. There's a lot of public spots up there, good waterfowl and upland. Get yourseld an Atlas and Gazateer to figure out the BLM sections.

East into NE is awesome for waterfowl.
