The duck gods saw fit to show us a good number of birds but only allowed us to keep 1. it just happens to also be the one I need to mate the drake on my wall.

7 hours total driving time (includes return)
Real choppy boat ride to spot
A ledge that was disappearing with each wave of the incoming tide
Seen lots of Eiders on the other shore flying by
Had a few in our spread only managed 1.
A day spend hunting with a friend I have only ever talked to online and on the phone for last 2 years.

Was my trip worth it? :salude: You bet.
