I'm headed a little North East of Winnepeg on Oct 7th, any reports from this area, good or bad?

How far north east? Good flight coming out of the Libau marsh.

Around Riverton and Arborg. Not for sure of the place you're talking about.

Arborg is at least an hour north of Winnipeg. I was there earlier in the week on work related stuff so didn't get to hunt. Are you free lancing or outfitting? Outfitters have a lot of the fields tied up. Good luck and keep your powder dry!

Libau Marsh is northeast of Winnipeg at the bottom (south end) of Lake Winnipeg.

Yes I believe about 1 1/2 hr North. I've been there several times, but has been about 3 years since I have been. Looking forward to the trip this year. Freelancing.

How did your trip go?

Still lots of ducks at riverton i hear....but you need a boat for the marsh.

Geese are gone here in Stonewall....very few ducks left.

Hoping there are still lots to come down.

Our trip was rough, only killed 5 ducks. The geese were alot better but took us a couple of days to find them. All birds were decoy and call shy. Was still worth the trip met new people and had a great time.
