Ontario bird movement?

Postby Spunky » Sat Nov 12, 2011 9:54 am

Most of the birds I hunt comes from the James Bay area, have you folks up north seen any major migration of ducks yet? Just stating to see some swans come through so the migrations can't be to far behind, I hope. Looks like our duck season will be out when the major migration comes through this year.

I`m in guelph, and I believe with the hot and cold temperatures, the migration will be more of a trickle down , this year. Just an educated guess really, but I`ve seen staging ducks of every species so far this year. my buddy seeems to think the`ve yet to move, but with the temperatures they`ve been getting up north, I find that hard to believe. makes it easier when it gets cold, and stays cold.
