Kind of quiet here. Anyone purchasing new gear for their trip to Canada this year ? I bought a new Remington Versa Max and will be using 3 1/2 inch ammo for the first time. I am considering upgrading from a 6X12 tandem trailer to a 7X14 Tandem. I also picked up a dozen snow goose silo socks to set off to the side of our regular Canada spread. Going to be a long summer !!

No trip to Canada planned cause I live there.
In the way of gear for the upcoming season, I have been stocking up on Black Cloud shells.
Picked up a half doz FA dekes with plans to score another half doz. Should be enough for the little potholes I prefer. Will probably get another set of waders as mine are getting old and starting to leak.
Should be a great fall.

I bought a second Cabelas blind, 2 dz silosocks, 2 jackites, 4 wind motion decoys and am shopping for a nice insulated jacket with hood as it can get down to -5 celcius and astrong wind chill in the mornings, around October and I also need a snow goose call.

Hopefully headed up in October, we try to hit a few places on the way up to see what is on sale. Nothing really planned to add to the collection at this time.

Even duct tape can't fix stupid ... but it can muffle the sound!

Planning my first trip this year and have mostly been adding to the decoy spread. Dozen full body Dakota lessers, Dozen Bigfoots and some full body ducks. Bought a JJ Lares Hybrid for some extra volume in that open land and have been practicing with it. Looking at picking up a pair of Muck Boot Arctic Pro's to keep my toes dry and warm.

More Sillosocks, new blind and added a custom e-caller to the set up. May have made the most important purchase for the fall season with a sled to drag gear into the fields if the weather continues to stay wet up here.

I'll be interested to hear how the mileage is on that Eco-Boost as I was thinking of getting a new Ford myself......
