What a differance a year makes. Last year we had a great opening day, we killed 26 Mallards and 1 Goose. This year we got 3 Mallards and 4 Geese. The ducks just would not decoy today, we had guys in 3 blinds with different spreads and they did not like any of them.
Hope things are a little better next saturday.

Complete opposite for me this year. Me and a buddy went down to Long Point got 10 teal and a goose. Alot better than our 1 teal last opener.

Slow day for us as well. It was to nice of a day. The birds stopped flying about 10 a.m. The three of us bagged 7 woodies, 1 mallard, and 2 geese.
