Where to hunt? Ontario

Postby rogerd » Sun Oct 28, 2007 8:53 am

Hi Guys;

Very new to this site but think it is very cool. I am moving to Burligton, Ontario CA very soon and was wondering if there were any good hunting spots west of the city in my neighborhood or farther west?

I have been hunting Simcoe, Balsam, and mitchell for quite some time now but I am ready for a change.

Any replies would be appreciated.

Anyone else notice that the birds are scarce this year?

If it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck it must be dinner.

Welcome, your real close to me. I live in Brantford On. Have you ever tried Long Point? What kind of hunting do you prefer, fields, rivers, lakes, marshes, do you have a boat, do you have a duck dog? Divers or puddle ducks, or how about geese?
I'm not as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I ever was.

Hey Mallardrocker, I am in the same area, do lots of duck hunting, let me know what you got for equipment, most of my spots are boat access, some atv, and a couple you can walk in, a dog is a must in a few spots. Let me know, I'll try and help any way I can

hey rogerd, :welcome: I have fished Balsam Lake quite a few times, but never hunted on it, the same as Simcoe. Which areas were you hunting, don't have to give exact areas, just north side, south side, etc..., unfortunatly I have very little help for hunting areas down there, but good luck finding some. With the help of this site it should not be a problem.
