Postby Chris Benson » Mon Mar 21, 2005 8:28 pm

Just wanted to let everyone know that the maps on the Netley Marsh Waterfowl Foundation web site have been updated. They now include the following full colour maps,

Navigation map
Vegetation map
Infrared aerial photo mosaic

http://www.lssd.ca/netleymarsh/

Be sure to check them out, they are much better than the black and white maps we had on there before.

Thanks guys!

Is hunting very good in the marsh anymore? I have heard it used to be pretty good.

Key word there is "used" to be good. There still are a few good area left in the marsh, but by and large 75% isn't at all good for waterfowl hunting. The water is controled and maintained at a high level thus the marsh is slowly washing out.
