This area is generally good duck hunting region. I wonder how the floods will effect the hunting 3 months from now?

My oldest daughter just moved to Calgary on Tuesday and said they are restricted to 3min showers as the cities water supply is contaminated and they can only treat so much water for domestic use.
Build memories, take a kid out doors and teach them about nature by interacting with it, hunting and fishing.

Learn from the past, don't dwell on it.

I used to live in calgary from 76-83 Aint I old. lol anyway we were a 5 minute walk from the resevoir.
After the amounts of rain we recieved a couple years back I can certainly identify with their dilema. If all else fails remember one of each goes onto the ark.

even more rain for southern Mb.

Postby mallardman77 » Wed Jun 29, 2005 6:04 pm

Well, it's raining even more in southern Mb. over the next 2 day total precipitation will be up to 120mm in some spots. The rivers in manitoba are already close to breaking their banks(The Red River, that runs through winnipeg, is 9ft higher than it should be for this time of year. We could be looking at some major flooding in Mb, again.
Is it september the 8th yet???
