NO relation to the swan, Anyone remember or hear about the recall of childrens fishing poles because the paint may contain lead? Well, what do you think, is the kid more prone to chew on his fishing pole, or use his teeth to crimp a lead split shot? So why wouldnt the lead split shot be banned or recalled also? Lead is superior to shoot , and cheap, but once it is banned, the price of other materials will come down. Also, shooting steel makes it challenging again...
