Planning waterfowl trip near Calgary, AB

Postby ownurlife » Mon Jan 16, 2017 5:36 pm

Hi guys,
I'm planning a hunting trip at Calgary and was looking for an outfitter for duck/goose hunting. I looked on some websites but need your advices on a good outfitter near Calgary. Planned to be in late October 2017 for a day or two and I will be staying at my friend's house so no need to sleep there.

We can travel about 2h in any directions of Calgary.

Thanks for your suggestions

I know that some answers for this OP were pretty good, some were full of smart@ss and some just didn't plain address his question at all. That being said, let's start over shall we? If you know an outfitter in the area that he is talking about or can answer his question, how about post up. Thanks

If the OP is still around, I only live about 2 1/2 hrs East of Calgary.
I don't guide but I might be able to help him out.

Outfitter wise, there is a company called Ranchland Outfitters, in the Calgary area.
They outfit for big game as well as waterfowl so you want to call them asap likely.

There is some great waterfowling in Southern Alberta.

Shoot me a PM if you want to chat or the contact info for the outfitter.
