Hello Waterfowl hunters, this is an update for the Peace River region of Alberta. We have lots of water in the lakes, sloughs, beaver ponds, rivers, and creeks. The duck and goose hatch in the area that I live looks great lots of little birds around. The crops are slow as we have not had a lot of rain the last month although we received some moisture the last 2 days. Hopefully we will have more rain as the crops need it now as they are in the heavy growing stages. It looks like it is shaping to be a great year for waterfowl hunting in the Peace Country of NW Alberta Canada.
