My dad grew up in the area but moved away a long time away. Just curious as to where you guys hunt in that area anymore?

If you've got a boat that can handle it, hit up lake michigan. Pastrick marina. go east a few miles to the canal made for the mill, warm water discharge. Also, wllow slough to the south (draw for blinds-always packed with people) and the kankakee river. Aside from that there isnt much. You'd have to head further south or east for anything else. Unless you know somebody....
