Indiana Hunt?

Postby Black Smoke » Wed Aug 07, 2013 12:46 pm

Would anybody be interested in getting a group of 4-5 guys together to hunt in Indiana this year just would be nice to get to know some people on here. I see a lot of other states do this and it would be cool to maybe get one group of guys around the state from each corner to kinda swap hunts ex:(I am in NE IN the group hunts there, a SE IN guy and we hunt there, NW IN group hunts there and SW group hunts there) if you get what I mean. Any takers I think it would be cool to do this and we could see each others neck of the woods.

I went to school in Vincennes indiana which is sw on Illinois line worked my way through school on a farm so have a lot of ground there and met a lot of good ppl I will be making plenty of trips down here to hunt all year certainly late season when north zone closes. I'm currently here right now picking up my sbe2 and working on the farm to lock up some ground.

I was thinking bringing guys up from the south for end of the first split of the North zone season and when our season goes out head south for the early January season? What are your guys thoughts?

I don't know if I can head north or not 2 kids and work. Southern hunt will work for me if I'm off i get 15 days a month off so wont be hard. But I've used 200 hours paid comp time already this year lol no vacation duck hunts for me.

New to duck/goose hunting. I would like to join your group. I live next to the dam on Cagles Mill Lake (Cataract). There are several public hunting areas close by. I have some decoys and a Chesapeake Bay retriever in training. I need some help learning the ropes. If I am drawn I will also need a partner for state hunts.

Sounds like an interesting idea. My buddy and I hunt mostly state properties (north and south).

In the Indianapolis area, so we are accustomed to having to drive a couple hours to get anywhere.

I'd be interested as well. I live in Bronson, MI currently, but am moving to Indianapolis later this year.

This is my first year trying to get into this hobby, so I'm 100% green.

I'm in the center of the state, and on board to hunt nearly anywhere. Let me know where you intend to hunt, I'm looking to hit Atterbury FWA depending how it turns out.
