That is a pintail. A young drake that was completely stupid. As for the hen teal on the right Malino, she sat down a whole 3 yards from the blind. Buddy kicked her up and patternmastered her. For those of you that shoot tight chokes, thats pretty impressive because at that range its more like a rifle than a scattergun.

Any updates anyone?

Went to the Greene-Sullivan yesterday. Saw about 4 dozen ducks and a couple dozen geese. Talked to a local guy who said the ducks had pretty much left the area. Anyone still seeing anything?

Haven't hunted down there yet, but I am going to minnehaha next week, I will let you know how it is, anyone hunt there lately?

Well, looks like it's just going to have to be resident birds for the rest of the season. It's a shame more of the geese from the retention ponds in these subdivisions don't come out far enough to hunt.

in Westfield not to long ago i saw a field with about 300-400 geese i have not seen them there lately though

I got'em suday before christmas. A Feild on county line by double tree. Its right by four seasons. It was assome to see them come in with the neck band.
