Hey guys just got back my certificate from my band the bird was banded in KY on Jan. 10 2001 i shot it Jan. 10 2009 it says the bird was hatched in 2000 or earlier. I didnt think they banded birds that early in the year? What is the oldest bands any of you have shot just curious?

My oldest was my very first duck. Mallard drake banded in Saskatchewan, Canada in 1988 and I harvested him in 1992.
So we probably should have brought our guns.

Mallard drake banded in Manitoba in 1992, hatched '91 or earlier and harvested in '98.
