To be honest, I haven't found any info on when and how the hunters are going to be informed of their success in the drawing. I'm really hoping to get drawn this year. I've lost most of my private land opportunities over the last couple years and the drawing will probably be my best chance to get in a decent area with some birds.
I did my application online. All it said was if my name was drawn I get a reservation letter telling me which date & where. If I didn't get drawn they send a postcard. Doesn't say when though. Here's to seeing an envelope in the mailbox.
I got the denial card. I can't seem to get drawn for anything in Indiana. It amazes me how some guys get drawn every year and others wait years for a chance.
dependign on where your located i would say its probably not worth it. But the whole lake is seperated into units and u have to have ur own boat blind, and they had the rail marsh but i dont knwo their schedule or how they are hutning those exactly. But 14th choice i dont think that u will get a very "prime" spot
thank you for your reply's, that will save me some headaches. I didn't know that you needed a boat blind, I have one but that would be along way to travel if there is alot of snow with a boat.
