Wood Duck Box

thinking about making some wood duck boxes for them to nest in for this spring, but was needing to know what type of nesting material to put into it and how much.

one other question. was wondering if anyone has had any luck with mallards nesting in hen houses in kansas, or is kansas to far south for mallards to nest.

Cedar wood chips about 6" inch will do.
We have great luck with hen house in Indiana.
