I am. I do it cuz I know they not only put alot of money into the conservation of wetlands, but also the tracking of the birds.

It is also a way for Duk hunters to "stand together", stay together and show that there are plenty of us, we have a less chance of being bullied around (by the anti-hunting groups).

Yes, they are helping us in this state with some much needed habitat improvement.

Delta is my choice, I use to be in DU for a lot of years, member, committee member, and co-chaired for some time. The reason I switched is a long story, witch I’m not getting into at this time

And the same for the Rocky Mountain Elk foundation....however, the do help. I try to do the best I can to support those things that preserve what I have left which is alot less than it used to be.....But money talks and the biggest conservation groups I have here in Colorado are 2 outfitters buying everthing or leasing everything they can. But I am still hunting on public and on some days doing just as well as outfitters....Now there is a big fight brewing for the big game tags in colorado...I have been a resident since 1964 and I still cannot draw a bow tag in a nice whitetail unit in my own state. However, one of my guided hunts included a young man who bid on a big horn sheep tag and got the hunt and the DOW gave him 3 seasons to hunt....he scored...but the tag cost him a mere 4,000$ and the hunt cost him a mere 3,800$ so I guess my grandpa was right money talks............

I'd rather have the money going to them where I know it's being used than wasting it somewhere else.

Just Delta for me right now. I like what both of them do, but began with Delta b/c they started locally in MN. Now that I have a new job I can afford to be a member fo both.
Either one you pick, or both...you are supporting a heritage and the future of waterfowling.

Duck hunters need a unified voice at times, D.U. fits that bill and the more members the bigger the voice. Also they do protect and rehab wetlands. At this point they get my vote.

I am a member of DU and Delta waterfowl. I like the DU we need land thing and I really like the Delta Waterfowl predator management approach so I am a member of both.

No, I am not a member of DU and haven't been for 4 years. I do not agree with the way things are ran. I came up with this opinion after serving as a volunteer on a couple of local committees.

I am now a member of Delta Waterfowl and will soon be on the local committee. Just waiting on the Regional Director to come back up here in a couple of weeks.

I'm not saying DU is bad and DW is better for everyone. DW just works better for me. It's something I can get behind.

I belong to Delta, but am fully behind DU. I am a committe chair, former secy/treas, sponsor, and a committee member since I have been duck hunting.

Join them all, and keep the wetlands alive!

Nothing could have been better for DU than Delta. What a better way to raise money for ducks that two competitve, like-minded organizations. Hopefully in the future there will be even more. Can you imagine 4 or 5 different organizations vieing for your support? With that kind of deal the ducks are the ones who become the winners.

I'm with you 870. I'm a Delta guy. DU seems to me to be in it for the rich man, which I'm not one of!
