Im not a rich guy. Dads navy gets an average salary. Live in middle class home. Have a saturn and an expedition.

Im not rich and i love DU. Just recently joined. Its a shame that some of your guys's chapters act the way they do but that is not what ALL OF DU is about.
The group ended up with 420 birds.

I'm with you 870. I'm a Delta guy. DU seems to me to be in it for the rich man, which I'm not one of!

Which I guess my previous statement was beside the point, you should pat yourself on the back for being a member of a conservation group, but at the same time, it's all about the ducks, it shouldn't matter where the money goes and how the banquets go as long as it goes to the ducks.

I'm a member of Delta and a comittee co-chair of the Delta Waterfowl 4-Curls Chapter in Fargo, ND. I like how Delta focuses on ducks rather than donations. I will always be a Delta supporter!

ps: Our annual fund raising banquet is at the Marriot By Courtyard in Moorhead, MN on April, 26, 2005. Please, pm me if you are willing to attend or sponsor our event. Thank you all!

No, I am not a member of DU, I put my money toward other originations that are better managed and need it more like Delta Waterfowl, and NRA.

It is also a way for Duk hunters to "stand together", stay together and show that there are plenty of us, we have a less chance of being bullied around (by the anti-hunting groups).

i am a member of both Delta and DU. I see the benefit and of each org and their approaches. i really wish and think we would see better results and a louder voice if both organizations were united. But it all benefits ducks where ever you send your nickels.

i'm trying to begin a local delta chapter in the tx panhandle.

Not a DU member. Some of the decisions they made here do not coincide with helping waterfowl. So I am a member of Nevada Waterfowl Association. Local people making the decisions about where the resources should go.
