thank you all so much
We need one of them Smileys, that has the Guy hitting himself in the forhead with the palm of his hand.
The Hen is Going to Set on those Ducklings Till they are Dry from Hatching.....
Once they are Dry, they are GOOD TO GO, To Swim. Mom don't need to teach not Swimming leasons......
If you Reinforce this Nest, Do it when the Hen is not there........
Are you Sure these are Eggs from this Nest?
Are there any Tame Ducks near this area? Hen Tame Ducks will lay eggs at a Creek or Pond side and they will roll into the water.......
Better to Leave Mother Nature to Dealing with this, Chances are, if you go Messing around, the Hen may leave and never come back!
If she looses to many Eggs or All of them, She will Renest and chances are, she will Renest in another area!
Many Different Ducks will nest 2 times in a Breeding season, they will hatch out the eggs, get the Ducklings going and then fly off to start a new nest and let the First batch of Ducklings fend for themselves!
Our youth are the Back Bone to hunting of the Future. Teach them WELL!
