I live in Iowa and in my area we have alot of public ground with lakes and slough's on them, and I'm sure the natural vegitation is being ate by the waterfowl, but do they plant any other seed's for them to eat such as wild rice, ect. I know in the fall with the million's of acre's of corn, and bean's being harvested the food supply is plentiful for them, but what about the spring when they need there nutrition the most, for there flight back to nesting ground's, and to make sure there strong and healthy for hatching, and raising chick's. I would appreciate some info or comment's on this. Hell I'll go buy the seed if it's legal to plant the stuff, just to help the waterfowl out. Thank's
