disturbing the soil

i have an irrigation pond where I hunt therefore the water is drawn down during summer wondering If I could to something to promote natural growth or plant anything any help would be appreaciated.

drawing down and disturbing during the first 45 days of the growing season will promote smartweed growth. Lightly disc or drag with harrow. Do some research on moist soil management for waterfowl on google. There are many good sources. I posted a link to one I read below.
