Planting on a sandbar

Postby duck slayer02 » Wed Mar 26, 2008 9:22 pm

I hunt a small creek, and right across from one of our blinds is a small sandbar. Is there anything that'll grow on the sand, and will stand up to being flooded for mabe a week or two per year? I was thinking millet, or something along those lines. All help is appreciated.
Thanks,

David

Millet will work but if you have geese in the area they probably will mow it down before you ever get to hunt it.
