The Difference Between DU and Delta

Postby Gooseboy » Sun Jul 17, 2005 12:28 pm

I think the major difference between DU and Delta is that DU focuses on conserving wetlands while Delta focuses on conserving the Ducks themselves. Both are major parts of conservation.
The group ended up with 420 birds.

DU also has realized how inportant the graqsslands are too being the nesting of the puddlers is done in the uplands - not on the water.
Delta's focuse is more on how to maximize the ducks per acre be it predator control, type of cover, etc.

But I beleive all hunters should be a member of both.
