A friend of mine is getting ready to set up his field for hunting. We are going to have to levee one end of the field, the shape and slope of the field makes the perfect scenario for flooding. My question is what is the best way to set up the levee to allow for flooding and draining. The field is a crop field and will have to be drained after each season. I was thinking a pipe close to the base of the levee at the lowest point with some type of valve (butterfly, knife, etc.). Any suggestions, things to watch out for, better setups, etc. Thanks, sorry for the long question.
