Hey guys I am seeing ducks and geese like crazy down here in the texas panhandle. I was wondering that durring the summer when they band the ducks and geese, if that was something that regular citizens that wanted to help out could volunteer for.

can't wait to get out to those playa lakes this weekend!!

1-blue wing teal
1-grey duck
3-wood ducks
(only been out twice)

Most banding agencies will allow private citizens to come along and help out. Your best bet is to get in touch with you state game agency or a National Wildlife Refuge in the area.

Good luck...banding is a lot of fun!
Fish, feathers, and photography...that's pretty much what makes me tick.
