I say 3 1/2 for those longer shots, ....BUT what barrel length do you recommend for geese?

My back up gun is a 3.5" 835. My "go to" gun is a 3" Urika 2. I've killed more geese with my 3" gun this year than I have in the past 5 with my Mossy. The birds are just as dead, too.

everyone knows u need a 4 inch shell to really kill a goose

Everyone knows, the only load that really reaches out and touches them is #4 buck shot. :wink: there you go. You have all been warned.
