Don`t know for sure where to post this but I`ve been scratching my head about htis and can`t figure out an easy way to do it.
I have some bigfoot floaters and I`m trying to figure out a way or a piece of hardware to attach to the keel of the decoy where I can put about 20' of decoy line on it and easily adjust the depth of the line.
Any body got any good ideas, I`ve looked at clips, springs, and all kinds of things, there`s not a lot of room on them. You`d think for the price you pay for decoys they mold a simple depth adjustment piece into them.

unwind the cord to desired depth and put a half hitch around the front of the keel.

That's exactly what I immediately thought of even before I read the reply. A half hitch is the simplest thing I can do.
