Dont' ya just hate?

Postby dakotashooter2 » Wed Sep 05, 2012 1:30 pm

When they birds bypass your best decoys and land in the junk ones? (Where you are not set up to shoot)

When there is not a bird in the air..till you drive your truck out to pick up the decoys?

When the birds decide that landing "into the wind" is not necessary?

When you fall asleep in your blind, wake up, stand up to take a pi$$, and 20 birds that have been sitting in your spread bust you and bail in a hurry, all the while you are standing there with your "gun" in your hand thinking "What the Fire truck just happened, and who can I blame for this...

I would have to say it sucks when you wound a goose, it glides just to the other side of the fence, and the two guys set up there ground pound it and keep it. I lost 2 last year in the same hunt.

Or when you watch birds hit a field three mornings in a row, and you set up the next day, and they go to a different field.

Or when your "buddies" start shooting when the birds are 50+ yards.

Or when its 90 degrees in September.

When your most dependable roost in which you have permission on all the fields around, no longer has geese, because some ****** that lives there bought a cannon to keep the geese off.

Definitely fell victim of the falling asleep in my layout blind. Just got my first one and I didn't know they would be that comfortable. :lol3:

when your canoeing to the spot all the birds flew over the day before, and a flock decides to fly right over where you would have been if you went to the same spot..TODAY :fingerhead:

When your "friends" think it's funny to unload your gun while you are out fixing the spread, only to have the best flock of the day work your rig a couple of times before droping their feet towards imminent death, and...... CLICK... Ha,ha,ha,...you got me... bastages...

It was pretty funny... after the laughing and pointing stoped.

when you set up in layout blinds in the middle and the geese land on the edge.. then 3 days later you set up on the edge to watch them land in the middle

When you sit up and tear into that flock, shooting once, twice, empty the gun. You SWEAR you had every bird dead to rights and while all the other guys in the group are picking up their dead birds and can't stop snickering, you are inspecting your gun for that "bent barrel", a loose/missing choke...ANYTHING to explain why you missed when you look to your right and there on the ground, between the blinds lie three grey hulled "super handicap" BLANK rounds. Did that to a buddy 4 years ago. He won't let anybody touch his gear any more and he better not catch you fiddling around anywhere near his blind either!

i think some of your"freinds" would end with goose entrails in thier layouts.i have enough to try to keep up with, let alone is my gun loaded, or is my gun loaded with shells that have shot in them.i can barely kill birds with 3" bb's.
it didnt smell like that when i ate it

Hey Gunnysway......try this I did.....one of my "buddies" was giving me a had time so I went to a gunsmith I knew and got a complete bolt for his gun...WITH NO FIRING PIN IN IT...I changed it out when he was away from his gun....GD that was funny when he kept ejecting loaded shells on the ground. :lol3:

When you open the blind doors and 2 or 3 geese that dropped in behind you without a sound, decide its time to leave.

No matter which direction you set the blind the birds come in on your "off" side..............
