Ive had this same problem so far...they fly straight to the side cant hunt about 400 yards away...i tried setting up my entire spread to perhaps convince them that THIS IS THE SPOT TO BE but to no avail. Im not sure what to do. Maybe it boils down to they JUST DON'T wanna be in that spot. Shoot me pm if you find something that works and ill do the same!

Can you get to the spot they are landing in? If so, take a couple stakes with pie plates on a string attached to the top of them & stuck em in the mud. Will force em into landing elsewhere. Not saying they will land on your deks, but I can tell you, with that flapping pie plate, the will not be landing there......

Sounds like you already educated those geese.

You already educated them, you wont fool them anymore. Better hope some new birds visit the lake.
Why do I shoot 3.5" for geese? Because they don't make a 4" yet!

Try moving spots and flagging. Flags work as well as calling, even on water.

All I gotta say is these residential geese don't respond to calling really well I've had a few times a single bird willturn outta flock an entire flock will turn but they never come into range I've had best success by just a few clucks when I see them from a distance an just hope I'm in there flight path
